LEBANON REDDENED WITH BLOOD: Pager explosion and now Walkie-Talkies, telephone explosion
Reportedly more than 1,000 Hezbollah terrorists and nearly 3000 were injured in Lebanon following a series of Pager explosions. The pager devices rigged with explosives were prepared as a result of several months of work by Israeli intelligence, a report suggests. However, Israel authority has not responded to this matter and allegation yet. These Pagers were imported from the Taiwanese company Gold Apollo. Although the company denied the manufacturing of such explosive products, it is found that each device contained up to 3 grams of explosives.

Several social and local media posts show that people are lying on the pavement with wound in hands or near pockets. Again this security breach in Hezbollah organization and communication caused a tension between Israel and Hezbollah. It is supposedly the new phase of war as reckoned in Lebanon this time.
The terrorist attack carried out this afternoon resulted in thousands of civilian casualties, including the death of a young girl, a parliamentarian’s son, and 9 Hezbollah members. The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported over 2,500 injuries, 400 of them critical. Earlier two Hezbollah members who used the pagers discovered the plot; one of the bombs in the devices was defused, while the other was detonated. Realizing that the trap had been uncovered, Israeli intelligence moved up the planned attack to prevent these two members from warning the organization.
Pagers, known as a beeper or bleeper, are the wireless telecommunications devices that receive and screen alphanumeric or voice messages. There are two types of Pagers: one only receives and the other type both can receive and send. Developed in the 1950s and the 1960s, this product was widely popular during the 90s. Then cellphone came to the market and lessened the value of Pagers. Here comes the question of using such outdated items. Actually, Hezbollah think that these devices are safe from tracking. Anyone can’t easily track any of the data shared via Pagers, as the Hezbollah believe.
What happened in Lebanon on the 18th was not just an attack on Hezbollah since Pagers are not only used by them but used by doctors and workers also exploded injuring dozens. A 10-year-old child was killed and many children and civilians were injured. This is a nation-wide terror attack. One can’t simply kill civilian for the sake of national interests. It raises the question of humanity, human rights, justice. A chaotic world is produced and no nation shows any interest in this.
In relation to this pager blast, Hezbollah accused Israel to be the dark force behind it. They say that Israel should be “fully responsible” for this and vow to return Israel back a more severe punishment. Now reports coming that hundreds of walkie-talkies blew up across the country. According to another report, landline telephones too exploded in the East Lebanon today.
Concerning the Israel and Hamas War in the Gaza strip and Israel since 2023, people across the world are in awe and terror. These dreaded incidents have no indication of stopping even without a halt. Just now, as the report says 32 killed and over 3500 people injured in Lebanon due to the explosions. So, when it is going to end , we never know.
