The 18th installment of PM-KISAN scheme will be released on 5th October, 2024, according to the official website of PM-KISAN. Meanwhile, this immensely helpful government ‘yojana’ can’t be availed by those farmers who have not yet applied or done their e-KYC, important for the fund transfer directly to farmer’s account through Aadhar number. The installment of Rs 2000/- is directly credited to the farmer’s account, three times a year.

In February this year, honorable Prime Minister released the 16th installment of Rs 21,000 crore of  Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi to more than 9 crore beneficiaries. Also from Varanasi, the honourable PM released the 17th installment of the PM-Kisan Yojana. Now in October, he will release 18th installment of the yojana.

The scheme is available to all those who have cultivable land. However, the PM-KISAN website asks the beneficiaries to ensure eKYC- “eKYC is MANDATORY for PMKISAN Registered Farmers. OTP Based eKYC is available on PMKISAN Portal or nearest CSC centres may be contacted for Biometric based eKYC.”

 

How to apply  for PM-KISAN

Step 1: Visit pmkisan.gov.in

Step 2: Click on ‘New Farmer Registration’ and enter Aadhaar number and fill the captcha

Step 3: Enter the required details and click on ‘Yes’

Step 4: Fill in all the the information required in the PM-Kisan application form 2024, then you need to save it and take a printout for future reference.

 

 

Modes to do eKYC

These following three modes of eKYC are easily available to the farmers of the PMKISAN scheme to ensure the benefit:

(i) OTP Based e-KYC (available on PM-KISAN Portal and Mobile App)

(ii) Biometric based e-KYC (available at Common Service Centres (CSCs) and State Seva Kendra (SSKs))

(iii) Face authentication-based e-KYC (available on PM KISAN Mobile app which is used by millions of farmers).

 

How to check PM-KISAN 18th installment status 2024

Step 1: Visit the official scheme website, pmkisan.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the “Know Your Status” status link shown on your screen

Step 3: You need to now put your “registration ID”

Step 4: Enter the captcha code that appears on the screen and click on “GET OTP”

Step 5: Put the “OTP” sent to your registered mobile number.

Here you’ll find all the details regarding your land, account, and certainly the current status of the installment along with all other previous installment statuses.

How to check the payment (DBTstatus) status whether it is failed or successful

Step 1: Visit the official government website, pfms.nic.in

Step 2: Click on ‘Payment Status’

Step 3: Next click on ‘DBT Status Tracker’

Step 4: Select the Category ‘PMKISAN’, enter the Application ID, enter the captcha verification code , and finally click on Search
