Manchester United vs Barnsley Highlights: The Champions Are Back In Action
United is spitting fire at the moment. They have a comfortable 7-0 win over Barnsley on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Alejandro Garnacho and Antony returned with their best forms; the Brazilian scores with a penalty while the other delights with two stunning goals. The Argentine has named this season to his name having 7 goals in six games. The English, Brazilian and Argentine made no mistake while took the opponent to the cleaners.

Old Trafford actually offered the license to Rashford to rush and Garnacho to get Manchester going. It was the man Marcus Rashford who dominated the game from the beginning. Indeed, he brought apparently all three three successful chances for Manchester United’s goals. He opened the scoring with a spectacular goal, and then helped Antony to win and convert his penalty.

Alejandro Garnacho joined the party with a smooth third goal. After that, he immediately netted another ball which was nicely put through by Christian Eriksen. And again the man of the night, Rashford, scored after getting a clinical pass from Garncho. While the win seemed more secured with 5-0 lead, Christian Eriksen just began scoring and unceasingly doubled his own score. This led Manchester United to have a remarkable 7-0 lead over Barnsley.
Needless to mention, Rashford has been the best player on the pitch in this game. It seemed like he was everywhere and snatched every good opportunities into his own team’s favor. As we have seen, he had some really nice touches of the ball, with Alejandro Garnacho assisting like the need of the hour.
Despite a drought of win in the Champions League, Erik Ten Hag’s team emerged victorious in the EFL Cup opener, which was hosted at the Old Trafford on September 18. The Reds dropped their majestic performance with a sublime touch to feed the football lovers. With this win, Manchester United reached the Carabo Cup fourth round.
Eriksen’s performance will not go unnoticed as he is a player of high caliber. He did at his preferred position, everything he could do.
