PARIS PARALYPICS 2024; INDIAN ATHLETES ARE SOARING HIGH WITH BRONZE
On Saturday, 31st August, 2024, Indian shooting wizard Rubina Francis wins her first Paralympic medal which appears to be a dazzling BRONZE. Remarkably, she is found to be the first Indian woman to bag a medal in pistol shooting at the P2 10 m air pistol SH1 event at the 2024 Paralympics Games. The 25 years old, from MP, was supported to stand comfortably by putting on special shoes which provides the balance required while shooting. It is because , she was born with talipes or clubfoot.
